Original Woodburned Wall Art

These original wooden paintings are done first by woodburning the original image with lines and shading by hand. I then add watercolor and watered down acrylic paint allowing the original natural grain of the wood to show through. To some I add pure 24k gold leaf, silver or copper leaf. They are all finished with several layers of varnish to add protection and more dimension of color.
